Ancient Medicine Cabinet is a collection of the herbal medicines and medicinal creams we have used with our families for decades! We are a small, family-run business started by three sisters. Our desire is to create healthy alternatives to common conventional medicines that treat every day aliments.
How we started
As kids, we were plagued with health complications: eczema, allergies, infections, tooth decay, IBS, endometriosis, PCOS, and insomnia, to name a few. As we began having children and families of our own, our children developed similar but increasing health issues such as bleeding disorders, autoimmune diseases, severe food allergies, asthma, and heavy metal poisoning.
We poured over herbal books, consulted with physicians, homeopathic doctors, and herbalists and labored at treating our children’s and our own health issues by focusing on the cause of these diseases instead of the symptoms. This new perspective of wellness led to us crafting safe and effective herbal remedies to assist us in this journey of living clean and healthy lifestyles free of conventional medication and chronic disease!
Don’t get us wrong: we are thankful for conventional medicine! It has saved a number of our lives!
As we began utilizing our “Fever, Cold and Flu Tincture” and hand made Vic’s Vapor Rub (“Breathe Easy”), our friends and family would ask us to make them batches for them. Dozens of families asked us to start up our own little shop where they could conveniently grab a tincture to help with their ear infections, strep throat, or cold virus…
Ancient Medicine Cabinet was born.
Our names are Alyssa, Mariah and Cassie (AMC) and we started Ancient Medicine Cabinet (AMC) in 2017.

What Makes Us Unique
** We are sisters who own this store!! (And we all have the same anniversary – cool right!?)
** We have experience with many chronic health issues such as severe food allergies, bleeding disorders, autoimmune diseases, endometriosis, PCOS, migraines, eczema and more. We have successfully treated these with the assistance of alternative medicine and diet. It’s what drives our passion.
** We are REAL mamas who use and have used these products for years.
** We value large families (between the three of us, we have 13 children), and want to create affordable and safe products that parents can feel confident about giving to their children, from infants up to young adults.
** We are not a “company in a box” or a “pyramid scheme”. We actually handcraft all of our products ourselves. We are our own brand. We make small batches and bottle everything ourselves.
** We want to learn and grow with our customers and desire to have a personal relationship with them. We embrace customized orders and love trying new recipes and products to meet our customer’s needs.
** We are always researching and creating new things! We are continually adding to our study of herbalism and love tweaking our products to be more effective and more affordable.
** We are Bible-believing JudeoChristians and do not participate in any occult practices or new age beliefs. We believe that the God of the Bible, created herbs and they have medicinal properties that we can utilize.
** We have first-hand experience with our products on a multi-cultural level. Mariah is married to an Irish/Scottish man, Cassie to an African man from Liberia, and Alyssa, is married to a Mexican man. We all use and enjoy our products!
** We are also a ministry and all the funds that we make go back into our little business and ministry. We desire to share the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ: that He is God, became a man to die on the cross and pay the penalty for our sin that we might be saved if only we confess our sin, forsake it and believe in Him!
